Our retail shops are in Kincumber, Newington, Balmain and Caringbah.
We provide people with disability the opportunity to work and learn social skills.
Donated items are sold in our shops giving preloved items new life and are recycled.
Our shop stock is all donated by the community.
We sell fabrics, patterns, patchwork, embroidery materials, knitting, crochet yarn, haberdashery and more!
From our first sale and store in 1998 we now operate 3 stores and have plans to open a new store.
The Sewing Basket offers people with disability the opportunity to work in a creative, fun environment and train in roles that are unique and rewarding. Our supported employees perform a varied range of tasks and contribute to the overall growth of our store, while also showcasing their amazing talents.” Geraldine said.
