Our practitioners provide quality, individualisedand adaptable goal-oriented services. These services are designed to assist people with disability to:

  • Improve psychological wellbeing
  • Improve mental health
  • Address Behaviours of Concern

Achieve’s Behaviour Support Coordinators are trained in Positive Behaviour Support. This is an evidence-based method which draws on the psychology of Applied Behaviour Analysis. This approach will improve relationships and social connections for participants.

Our Behaviour Support Coordinators can provide:

  • Individualised Positive Behaviour Support services
  • Comprehensive Behaviour assessments and written reports
  • Development of Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP)
  • Training in, and implementation of the PBSP
  • Staff and carer training in Positive Behaviour Support
  • Consultation and advice

Achieve have a team of psychologists who are highly experienced at working with people with disability.  We offer professional psychological assessments and therapy services, focused on improving the daily living, mental health and wellbeing of participants. Our psychology services include, but are not limited to:

  • Cognitive and intellectual assessments
  • Mental health assessment and treatment
  • Assessment and education around maladaptive sexualised behaviours
  • Capacity assessments
  • Dementia screening
  • Individual and/or group therapy
  • Training in topics related to psychology
  • Consultation and advice
