Brent Pitts joined Achieve Australia in 2018. He was previously Finance & Commercial Director of the McGrath Foundation and prior to that had an extensive international career in the corporate sector – including senior roles in supply chain and procurement, and finance.

Brent’s experience includes leading major projects that delivered productivity and synergy benefits, reduced operating costs, introduced Enterprise Resource Planning systems across multiple sites, delivered financial support for strategic plans, and assessed and executed mergers and acquisitions.

In his previous role at the McGrath Foundation – the largest funder of breast care nurses in Australia – Brent provided commercial and strategic leadership that enabled the development of an organic growth strategy aimed at doubling revenue over five years to deliver increased mission outcomes.

At Achieve Brent drives financial strategy and manages the organisation’s strategic asset portfolio. He is focused on building a strong financial base to fund growth and service development and ensure Achieve has a sustainable future.

Brent is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand.

Jannis Redford - Head of Operations

Janis Redford

Head of Operations Executive

Janis Redford joined Achieve Australia as Head of Operations in 2018. She reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and has executive oversight of all four pillars of Achieve services – My Home, My Life, My Wellbeing and My Career.

Janis has more than 20 years of experience in primary and allied health care, community services, aged care, mental health and disability support services. Prior to joining Achieve Australia she was General Manager, Community Services for Catholic Healthcare Ltd.

Her previous roles included NSW State Manager of Community Services for Mission Australia, Deputy CEO of The YWCA of Sydney, CEO of the Lottie Stewart Hospital, and Area Director, Allied Health for the Central Sydney Area Health Service.

During her career, Janis has led many strategic initiatives including:

  • Projects developed to respond to significant healthcare reform
  • Stakeholder and partnership management including collaboration with Federal and State Governments to establish and deliver programs such as Regional Assessment Services in 10 regions across NSW, and the NSW Elder Abuse Helpline and Resource Unit.
  • Development of a Customer Service Charter and collation of Net Promoter Scores for all community clients to establish baseline measures for consumer satisfaction.

At Achieve Australia, Janis’s strategic focus is innovation and development of new services, identification of sustainable opportunities, and continuous improvement in the quality and viability of service delivery.

Fiona Miller

Customer Experience Executive

Fiona Miller joined Achieve in 2016 following the amalgamation of Achieve and Far North Coast disability services provider On-Focus Inc. She was previously CEO of On-Focus, managing 65 staff and a range of programs including Accommodation Support and Day Programs across Northern NSW. Fiona led the On-Focus side of the amalgamation, focusing on change management and the successful retention of clients and staff.

Prior to her 9 years as CEO, Fiona worked in a variety of other roles for the organisation including Community Living Coordinator and Manager of Operations.

Fiona was also a strong advocate for the organisation, building its representation through community presentations and other forms of outreach. She managed all staff in the accommodation service in Casino and Lismore, including peer reviews, appraisals, discipline and role modelling professional relationships with clients.

Before joining On-Focus, Fiona was a support worker then coordinator at Casino Family Support Service, and a support worker for the Save the Children Fund Support Service in Mt Druitt, Sydney. In these roles, she counselled families under stress, including domestic violence victims, children and sexual assault victims.

Fiona’s strategic focus at Achieve Australia is the identification and engagement of prospects, customer retention, and ongoing measurement of customer satisfaction – as well tracking influencers of customer perceptions and decision-making.

Fiona is a Member of the Australian Institute of Management and has acted as Regional Representative for a variety of State Committees in the disability sector. She is also a past Vice Chair of Disability Professionals NSW.

Lorraine Salloum joined Achieve Australia in 2018. She oversees our growing workforce of over 1000 employees dispersed throughout wider Sydney and several hubs in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Post graduate qualified and commercially astute, Lorraine has over 20 years of HR, change leadership and operations delivery experience across Government and Corporate sectors.

At Achieve Australia, Lorraine is spearheading Achieve’s latest workforce strategy. Workforce 2020 aims to create a productive, engaged and competitive workforce, making Achieve the company of choice for professionals working in disability services. Rollout has commenced and the strategy will be fully implemented by 2020.

Before joining us at Achieve Lorraine worked across Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Organisational Strategy and Performance, and Professional Standards in the Government and Corporate sectors. Most recently she was Senior Executive at the NSW Department of Family and Community Services leading talent acquisition, business partnering, organisational development and learning strategy.

Daniel Kyriacou

Strategy and Business Development Executive

Daniel Kyriacou joined Achieve Australia in 2016. He has 11 years of management and director level experience in the disability services sector and national union movement.

At Achieve Australia Daniel has executive oversight of business strategy, business development, stakeholder relations, strategic partnerships, fundraising and marketing.

He works with Executives and General Managers across all business areas to identify, develop and deliver new business opportunities, manage service enhancement and expansion, and explore new strategic and research partnerships.

Prior to joining Achieve, Daniel was General Manager – Communications for the industry peak body, National Disability Services. He was in this role for four years, managing multiple national brands, internal and external communications channels, stakeholder engagement, membership programs and services, and marketing strategy and budgets.

He previously worked for the National Disability Insurance Scheme as Director of Operations with full responsibility for the Every Australian Counts Campaign. In this role, Daniel led the development of campaign strategy, communications, fundraising, budgets and stakeholder engagement.

He negotiated, established and maintained significant corporate partnerships with Telstra, Nine Network, Macquarie Radio, and News Ltd. In addition, Daniel led community engagement. He addressed more than 200 town hall meetings and media events, and regularly briefed senior politicians including the Prime Minister and Leader of the Federal Opposition.

At the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU), Daniel was Campaign Management and Growth Coordinator, responsible for state and national campaign design and implementation, stakeholder consultation, community engagement and membership recruitment. He also led industrial negotiations in enterprise bargaining session.

Robert Anton

Business Transformation and Technology Executive

Robert Anton joined Achieve Australia in 2017 and holds the position of Business Transformation and Technology Executive (CIO). His experience includes more than 20 years in management and senior management roles gained in the financial services industry based in Asia Pacific and Australia.

For the last 7 years Robert has applied his experiences and skills gained in the commercial and financial services, working for not-for-profit organisations in Australia in chief financial officer and executive director roles and performing in senior leadership teams.

Robert brings to Achieve Australia expertise in technology and change management strategy, business integration, procurement and contracts management.  Robert has had oversight of the client management system recently introduced at Achieve.  This cloud based technology facilitates digital business process and client management services workflow, essential to supporting and complying with NDIS requirements and preparing for the future of disability care services.

Prior to joining Achieve Australia, Robert was Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director with Social Ventures Australia Ltd (SVA) – a not for profit organisation jointly established by the Smith Family, the Benevolent Society, Work Ventures and the AMP Foundation. SVA’s purpose is to bring business skills and experience to the not for profit sector in Australia.

Before joining SVA, Robert was Financial Consultant and Acting Finance Director at Anglicare Sydney. In that role, he was responsible for financial strategy, treasury, reporting, and optimising endowment assets. He was also responsible for financial and change management assignments supporting major projects including ERP technology, property and capital works in retirement living and aged care centres.

Robert worked with Deutsche Bank AG for 16 years, performing director level roles in Asia Pacific, building on experience gained earlier in financial control positions with local (state banks) and foreign financial institutions including HSBC and CIBC.

Robert has also undertaken extensive continuous professional development and training in strategic leadership and change management with organisations such as Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM), CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants in Australia), Accenture, AIM (Australian Institute of Management) and the Centre for Social Impact. He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
