We do this by facilitating the learning and maintenance of life and work skills, the development of relationships, the ability to make life choices and participation in community activities.
In a recent interview with ABC TV, Achieve Australia’s CEO Anne Bryce spoke out about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). She echoed the disability sector’s support for the Scheme, but called on the Government to make the NDIS work effectively. It is time to fix the problems within the system which are hurting families and service providers alike.

Achieve Australia celebrates its 65th Anniversary

In 1952 the organisation began supporting 15 people in one facility on donated land in Ryde.
Today, Achieve Australia provides disability support services to 123 people in 32 community homes and 22 apartments in Sydney and the Northern Rivers region of NSW. More than 51 people living independently in the community receive drop-in support and 192 people participate in Day Programs.

A New Beginning
